Ericka's Stuff

For the last 2 weeks, I've been packing my baby's suitcase... I've been taking things in and out, putting more things, changing her clothes, etc...I think I am finally done with it today.. I've put most of the stuffs in zip lock bags to save space.. I am in disbelief about how much stuff a baby needs!

Baby Snacks and Medications

Sippy Cups, Stacking Cups and Utensils

Toys!!

Diapers for way home (Size 2 and Size 3)

Formula and Oat Meal

Bath Gel, Baby lotion and Wash Clothes

Baby Wipes, Adult Wipes, Diaper Rush Cream

Cheerios and a Little Lamb

1/2 of suitcase filled with clothes

This is how it looks like when all the stuffs are inside the suitcase

Tada!! I managed to stuffed the diaper bag on top!

East Coast Snowstorm!

David absolutely loves the snow! I believe is because it bring him back memories from this childhood.... his first job in the U.S. was to shovel snow and he has very found memories of it... we got to leave from work early so we spend some time playing with the beautiful fresh snow!

2 more weeks!

In less than 2 weeks, we will be making the journey of our lifetime to China to bring our baby home! Our life will be changed forever as our baby Ericka will join our family! We've been waiting for this to happen for the last 3 years and when it is finally happening, it seems at time surreal!
We made some changes to her room.. basicially just moving some furniture around.. We figure that it is better that we sleep temporary in her room... Once she is here, I will be home to take care of her while David will return to work... I'll probably be sleeping with her in her room so we had decided that is better just to leave her crib and not move it to our bedroom. We made some purchases this weekend.. we bought a camcorder to record all the upcoming precious moments that we will have with her.. We finalized the gifts for the chinese officials and bought some new lugages.. can't believe this excitment event is really going to happen!

So far, we haven't hear any updates from our agency regarding the travel dates.
The good thing is that we finall got our I-717H approval back! I am still impressed how smoothly the USCIS handled our case! They really do deserve the thumbs up!
